Embarrassingly bad -- a stain on the Waleska community. While Reinhardt and other entities in the community aim to make Waleska a foot-hill haven, this establishment continues to be a blemish on the area. The interior looks perpetually mud-stained, the exterior is equally ghastly, the prices seem markedly inflated, and the service is practically non existent, save for the new employees that don't seem to stay on staff for any extended time. When they stop using a section of the store, they don't remove it - they let it sit indefinitely dormant, including two different food-bar facades, one of which has not been used since at least prior to 2010 when I first saw the interior of the store. They still sport a large window decal advertising food they don't sell, including the misspelled "hamburguers" in big block letters facing -- ironically -- every college student on the way to class at Reinhardt University across the street. They have shelves backed up against large portions of their windows, blocking out the light and generating another eyesore from the street. Since there aren't many quick food sources in the area, I usually opt to drive the extra 10 minutes to Canton than patronise this establishment. The times I must step foot in this store are never pleasant. Today, I was ignored by the only clocked-in employee while she conspicuously watched a video on her phone. When she finally performed our transaction, she did so silently and curtly. This kind of occurrence is the rule rather than the exception. If I were a business owner, it would be this kind of establishment that keeps me from investing opening a business in Waleska; I would not want to be seen as the type of proprietorship that operates near such septic.

I popped in for a quick bite. The young man greeted and served me with joy and appreciation...I mean, that he was just nice! He put together a couple of biscuits for us and we were off. They were a bit dry but delicious none the less.
