DeKalb County Board of Education

Current teacher, and I will say that the school board needs to be removed and replaced. HOW DO YOU GO THROUGH 7 SUPERINDENDENTS OVER 12 YEARS?!?!?! Then you waste tax-payer money paying them after you fire them??? WHERE is the funding for sports, arts, etc.? WHY ARE THE SCHOOL DELAPIDATED, INFESTED WITH ROACHES, SMELL OF SEWAGE...should I go on? Maintenance doesn't fix anything, and contractors will tell you all about seeing them sitting and eating at restaurants. But the board won't let anyone fire them. REPLACE THE SCHOOL BOARD, the students deserve better than who is currently on there. And that is from a current teacher who will be leaving because of this district. (More money won't keep us here.)

Don't enroll your child in this district. You'll fill out paperwork in triplicate because none of their systems correspond to each other. Let alone be given the correct information the first time.

The staff should stop leaving fake reviews. The board is full of crooks. They only entertain a certain type of parent. These people aren't doing anything but scamming the system.
