Mai Thai Restaurant

I love the food here! The service is excellent and the chef is really nice and friendly. The food is very affordable and it's the best Thai food around! The food comes out very fast and I love how the employees make me feel so welcome and at home. The ambiance is very nice. 5 stars!!!

Sad to say the owner of this restaurant was shot and killed Saturday night Sept 10th 2016 during a robbery at closing as he walked to his car with food for friends. The restaurant will most likely be closed forever. Be careful and may the Angels watch over us and God bless us all. Please pray for his family. So very sad...

Service was great, the food was hot and a good portion size. The flavors could have been much more bolder. They had good vegetarian options as well. Good prices too.

I hate writing bad reviews so have been putting this off. Last Friday evening my wife said, "Lets order takeout from a restaurant we’ve never tried.” I relented because I usually say no fearing the worst and I need to say yes every once in a while. She called Mai Thai and we ordered coconut soup, basil rolls, massaman curry, and cashew chicken. When I arrived at the little strip mall there were only 2 cars in the entire parking lot. The place was very spare looking with only 2 customers. The owner asked me where I lived so he could calculate distance for possible future delivery. (I think he might be doing mostly delivery now) Price was very reasonable ($30). The soup was good (a little on the sweet side). The curry was OK but not memorable. The basil rolls were sub par with only iceberg lettuce and wrappers so thin they fell apart while eating. I didn’t have the cashew chicken so I asked my wife how it was. She said, “Not great” and agreed we would not revisit. It wasn’t horrible but we won’t be going back.
