Due to water damage in my home, I hired Southern Trace Interiors to complete the repair work. This has been the best experience by far Ive ever had working with a contractor in my home. Deborah Johnson is the owner and contractor. She is absolutely amazing. Deborah handles everything! Damage to a home is a stressful experience, but Deborah makes it easy. She is organized, experienced, thorough, easy going and kind. She responds almost immediately when contacted throughout the process. She came every day to check the work in my home and answer my questions. Her team can handle anything in a home. The damage required drywall work, paint, carpentry, and an electrician. Her team is exceptional. Tim is a master carpenter who arrives on time, works hard and is extremely easy to interact with I never hesitated to ask questions because he is so easy to work with. The electrician installed two ceiling fans. He was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. He was able to answer all my questions about the wiring in my home. The painters are outstanding. Victor and his team are extremely detail oriented. They are definitely the best painters Ive ever hired. Victor and his team went above and beyond to make the painting in my home gorgeous. Another bonus - everyone cleans up before they leave. This is truly white glove service for your home! I trusted Deborah and her team so much that I ended up asking them to complete additional work in my home beyond the water damage repair. I could not believe how efficiently her team completed the work. I was expecting it to take weeks to complete; it was less than a week and that was with me adding additional work every day because I was so happy!! I will only use Southern Trace Interiors in my home going forward. They are simply the best.

Deborah with Southern Trace Interiors was great to work with! She was so organized, and I knew the schedule for when everything was happening. She redid all of our bathrooms, and we are so pleased with the outcome! If there were ever any issues, she handled them promptly and made sure everything was taken care of. I highly recommend her for all your renovation needs.

I recently used Southern Trace Interiors to update my 16 year old kitchen. Deborah Johnson and her team successfully supported my remodel into a kitchen with a vintage Farmhouse style. Renovations included new appliances, repainting cabinets, updating to quartz countertops and subway tile backsplash and a new custom vent hood. Most importantly Deborahs experience meant she successfully coordinated the various sub-contractors needed to allow a start-to-finish Reno in under 3 weeks. I absolutely love the finished product!

To be honest, we approached our basement project a bit apprehensively since we had heard so many horror stories from friends about other contractors. We interviewed several contractors, and Southern Trace Interiors clearly rose to the top to finish our basement. Deborah made the process seamless and enjoyable! She was very communicative and responsive, and kept us informed and updated every step of the way. Shes extremely professional and made us feel comfortable and assured throughout the project. Shes detail-oriented and ensures all of her sub-contractors are held to a high standard. The pricing was fair, and we were so pleased that the entire project was done on time and on budget. Were in love with our newly finished basement!

We hired Deborah to finish our basement after hearing great things from our neighbors. She was fantastic to work with and our project was done in 8 weeks, which was amazing! There was someone working on it almost every single day and never any down time. Her subcontractors were professional and I felt comfortable with all of them. Our basement is perfect and I’m so glad we got it done before quarantine! We’ve recommended her to friends and would absolutely use her again.
