Welcome to D.S. Murphy & Associates!In 1996 Mr. Murphy established D. S. Murphy & Associates. In 2004, Mr. Murphy was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue to the Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board where he is actively working to improve the laws and more closely regulate appraisers in Georgia. He has served as the Chairman of the Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board for the past three years. Mr. Murphy is an active member of the Appraisal Institute, the National Associates of Realtors, the Northeast Metro Atlanta Board of Realtors, Georgia Real Estate Fraud Prevention and Awareness Coalition.

Complete waste of money. Paid $600 for an inaccurate appraisal. As in, there was a house in our neighborhood that recently sold, and it was not even in the comparison! Brought it to the appraiser's attention, and he amended it, but you still charged me full price for your error??!! Also, very late in completion, and unorganized with payment (accusing me of not paying when of course I didn't, you never sent me the info to pay!). Pay in full, wait for a report that I have to help you fix. Come. On.

I would never use this company. The inspection report in not only inaccurate but very harsh and misleading. If you want to break a deal...call this company.

I have used DS Murphy many times over the years. Each time, the work has been high quality and worth every penny. Drady Hendley has done a lot of the pre-listing appraisals for my sellers and I have always been impressed with him and his work.

5 Stars. I highly recommend D S Murphy for your property appraisal needs. Especially would like to shout out their staff. Stuart was able to squeeze in a last minute appointment. He was very courteous and professional. He wore a mask and even went as far as covering his shoes while inside my home.
