We have been struggling for quite some time to find a tutoring program that could help my grandson Morgan. He has been struggling for a while with reading comprehension and was 3 years behind. This struggle has also caused him to have a lack of confidence in his abilities. Like most families we were not prepared to become classroom teachers and soon realized that we were out of our element. We also knew that we had to come up with a plan to help him before school started again. God does answer prayers and he sent us an angel in the form of Ms. Arlene.
The first thing she did was test him and gave us her recommendation. She explained that his problem could not be solved over-night but with her guidance and his hard work she felt that we could achieve our combined goals. She is the type of teacher that so few school systems have and so many parents wish they did. She is an old-school teacher who is knowledgeable, kind, creative, determined and so much more. She has challenged and helped my grandson to understand that their relationship is a partnership that he must do his part and she will do hers. So, I give Ms. Arlene and her So Much 2 Learn Homeschool & Tutoring Services my highest recommendation.

This facility appears to be ideal for learning. The owner would benefit greatly from cultural diversity training. My African American grandson (was there for some weeks) did not like the environment. The owner/teacher, in what may have been times of frustration, made demeaning comments about his comprehension-that affected his confidence. Our young black boys need to be built up-not torn down. Words hurt...get sensitivity training.

Ms. Arp cares about her students and their individual progressions. I appreciate her cultural sensitivity as she works well with diversity. I would 100% recommend.

Going into the 9th grade with and IEP but testing at 7th grade level we saw our son was extremely behind and in fear of sending him back to public school, we met Ms. Apr and immediately felt she would be a great fit for our son. In the beginning we felt he may not get the attention he needs but after seeing his progress and the amount and work and time she put in to each individual child, we knew he was in the right place. My son has made drastic strides In a very short time (thanks to Ms.Arp), and is finally ready for public school. He will still see her for tutoring because they have built a great rapport and it wont hurt having that extra support, but we are also glad we made the decision we did. .
