We waited 35 min just for the chips they offer there is 10 tables and 5 servers shouldn't take that long food was tolerable but defiantly not worth the money at all wont be back

You will not find a better steak in metro Atlanta, period. I heard about this tiny little place from a guy at work, who knows I love fine steak. I've had steaks all over Atlanta; my favorite used to be Ruth's Chris, but now I drive to Stockbridge to go to Sticks and Stones. Your steak is delivered, already seared in the kitchen, on a hot volcanic stone, and I get to cook it myself by cutting off slices of the signature filet and letting it fall onto the volcanic rock, where it cooks to MY liking. It's also one of the very few places where I do not use Heinz 57 steak sauce; the chef's dipping sauces are better than any you'll find anywhere, because he developed them himself. The service is usually excellent, occasionally awful, but any service at all is worth it for the quality steaks that have been marinated just perfectly. Get the filet, and tell them Saxton sent you.

I had a wonderful and fresh piece of salmon and some calamari, and both were excellent. I liked the complexity of the calamari, which they served with olives, pepperoncinis and prosciutto. The salmon had a really great sear on it. Since I was there for lunch I did not try cooking on the stone, but next time I'm in the mood for something special, I will look forward to coming back here.
