Have been trying to get my insert repaired for 3months and still have not gotten it fixed. Try calling and no answer was told part was in about a month but, no one will come and put it in. Have run out of patience have no idea why because I originally paid several thousand dollars for insert so would expect some consideration but, so far nothing. No one will even answer phone worst dealings I have had with a company in 76 yrs

I bought a house that had a new insert installed winter of 2019 by this company. I had a sweeper come inspect since the fireplace was new to me, the sweeper informed me the flue only extended halfway up the chimney and was not installed correctly. It is supposed to extend all the way to the chimney cap, and be secured to the cap. This is according to the stove manufactures instructions on installation. I placed multiple calls to the company to see if they will correct their mistake. I either get a promise to return my call, or no answer at all, multiple messages left... I have a fireplace that is not installed to code, and cannot use it due to safety concerns because The Fireplace Place did not install it correctly. The previous owner is lucky they did not have any major problems, and I am very glad I paid for an inspection, I could have found out about their inept workmanship and lack of concern for customer safety the hard way!!

I should precede this review with a few details about me that I hope will give even more credence to my accolades. I am an interior designer by schooling and a perfectionist by nature and hold to the highest standards of customer service in my day job. So I am going to be tough to impress in all 3 of these areas, but Fireplace Place managed to do it. We spoke to about 3 different fireplace sellers and installers to start. Fireplace place seemed to be a little more expensive but after getting poor customer service, and very few solutions from the others, I headed back to fireplace place. Rodney returned my calls, texts and emails promptly, answered all my questions and provided good solutions to our challenges. He was always friendly and helpful. He arranged to bring out his partner, Daniel to our new home to help us finalize the plans. I’m not sure of Daniel’s title but he is the guy who understands the construction and feasibility and he is also very creative. After talking with both of them about our ideas and plans, our style and goals, Daniel asked if we were open to some different ideas. We began brainstorming and sketching and came up with this 2 sided, one of a kind, modern fireplace. Once we agreed to it they sourced the materials, provided dimensions and requirements, ordered it all, scheduled with us and then executed. They were reliable and helpful through the entire process and where we once had a big open room we now have an 18’ tall direct vent fireplace. It literally could not have gone any better or easier. They were worth every dollar.
