Affordable Roofing and Gutters

By far worst roofing service ever, they did such a sub-par job that an amateur could see it wasn't right. Came out twice to correct it before I paid them. After I paid, the warranty is apparently worthless because they will not return my calls. Roof leaks worse than before I called them. I would not recommend this company. been fighting to get someone to return my calls for over 6 months. This company has been a nightmare. I hired affordable roofing to repair my mothers roof after Hurricane Mathew. I spoke to the owner and he sent a crew to the house to start the project a few days after my call. I went by the house to discover that they tore off the old roof, had about 3/4 of the new shingles installed, but did not install felt paper or replace any of the flashing. In other words, they attempted to rush through the job to make a quick dollar by not installing felt paper or flashing. The supervisor lied about having the flashing and felt paper on the completed sections. I stopped the job and I called the owner to advise him of what was going on. He told me that he was very busy and to text him some pictures. He also told me that this is a new crew from Macon Ga. that he was trying out and he would send a new crew to start all over the next day. He never came by the house to check on the progress until it was time to pick up his check. My mother is 80+ years old, so I guess they assumed that they can get away with doing a poor job because she didn't know any better. There is currently a leak around the chimney and the owner has been promising me that he will send someone by to fix it. Here I am, a week later unable to reach the owner. The roofing industry is booming after the hurricane and roofing contractors are very busy, raising their prices, and doing poor work. I am very disappointed in the customer service, quality of work, and the fact that the owner only shows up when its time to get paid. My advice to you is; shop around for a company that's not so busy, demand that the owner is present while the work is being done, and make sure that you do not hire these guys to avoid the headaches that they bring to the table.
