Have called every phone number that Savannah News Press has published. I cannot talk or leave a message for a "Return Call" at any of them. All these numbers are "automated" which is worthless-no option for speaking to a REAL person! Without exception, on any given week, we miss delivery of at least one paper (not Saturday as they no longer deliver on Saturday). Recently, we received no paper on Friday, Oct 27, on Tuesday, Oct 31 & today, November 3. As much as we enjoy delivery of the paper (when it is delivered), there is obviously no way to complain to anyone about the situation, so I guess we will end our subscription like two of our neighbors have already done. Oh, also, I have mailed this information to their business address on Chatham Parkway. No response to that attempt either!

Unfortunately, I woke up very rudely to a scam with in the now parent company of what was Morris communications, and Savannah Morning News the Morris family sold a beloved Paper to Gennett part of the USA Today Netwerk unsuccessfully to retrieve money back from getting that reaching overseas operator. Every time they did not have my information to save my payment information. What they did this time after many years of a subscription with the Savannah Morning News apparently back in January a person called and wanted a payment without thinking which Ive always done. I gave them my payment information on my debit. I told him not to save the information as Ive done for about 30 years before the information was saved so a few days ago, they ran my debit card for an amount of money, I tried unsuccessfully for three days to retrieve my money. I called my bank fraud unit. They told me it could take 100 days for me to get my money back if I got it back at all so I started calling numbers with the Savannah Morning News can get no answers none at all and its like a ghost town, I again called Gennett requesting a refund and was told that it was impossible now because theyre offshore beware dont fall into this trap. Do not give any debit or credit information to Savannah Morning News at all or any affiliate of Garnet newspapers, I would like to add that yesterday I drove out to the Morning News complex off Chatham Parkway. I found out that a year ago Garnett newspapers moved out the buildings being rented by five or six various companies that called the building home the Savannah morning news is being published in Florida and truck to Savannah, thats taken away all our local jobs. Savannah Morning News is no longer our local newspaper I know its a small amount of money that they stole from me. However, its the principle Im sorry.
