My wife ordered me one of the most expensive Keybars (Black Diamond Crosshatch Titanium) for me for our anniversary. First off she was supposed to get two day shipping but it took five days to get here. Secondly today now that I finally got the Keybar (past our anniversary) I start to remove one of the screw to add me keys to it notices the screws seemed to be very but I figured some of the powder coat had just gotten in the thread. So proceeded to place my keys on the screw and when I tried to follow the instructions of only remove one side at a time I had a hard to find the screw hole. Once it found the screw hole I tired to just use my fingers to get the screw started but it would not start. So I removed all my keys and tried to thread the screw without any keys on it and had no luck. I then removed the other side (which had no issues removing or replacing the screw) and noticed that the threads on the back plate were cross threaded. I have tried to get in contact with keybar about the issue with no luck after four hours of waiting to here from them other then their generic automated email of these are our business hours and will get to you as soon as we can. Now Im very upset that my wife has spent all this money on what was supposed to be a nice gift because I have been wanting one for sometime but wouldnt buy one for myself because a $124.99 is a lot of money that could be used on other stuff. But my wife wanted to do something special for me and I thought because of everything I have read and watch on them that they were of a lot better quality than it seems to be. Customer service and responsiveness of getting back to a customer should be in my opinion pretty quick especially when its something a company makes and is supposed to be known for high quality products. I am very disappointed with the product and the responsiveness of the customer service. I hope this helps someone with making a decision.
