    If youre thinking about this service dont do it. They tell you what you want to hear to sign you up and its all a lie. Didnt keep the service for a month. Sat on the phone almost an hour for 3 days trying to cancel chose the activate service option and someone picked up right away had to get a supervisor to cancel my service. Then sent me an email talking about a final bill even I didnt use ask the data that was provided. DONT DO IT!!

    I was told to calll ACP number 888787-2118 I call on hold 40min 30min one time 35 minutes then they dropped my call . It seems like EarthLink does not want to help me receive my 30.00 dllrs discount on my internet I would not recommend this provider to no one. There call operators are in South Africa but the business ofc is in the United States

    Really disappointed with the customer service. I made a payment on Sunday and my services are still disconnected. I was told to send an email with proof of payment. I did that Monday at 10:16am. Its Wednesday and no one has gotten back to me. They keep telling me i have to wait or pay again. I cant seem to get any help!

    Kept hanging up turning off their phone wouldn't put a manager on the he phone cut my service after 3 days before telling me the bill won't be due until the 2 week mark. Paid 10 dollar installation fee.Priced for 50 a month billed 103 on the 11th didn't have service installed until the 12th how does that make sense this is a joke now I'm stuck without service.

Hello knicole71,I am not sure who you spoke with but EarthLink sales agent's are very thorough when they go through the sales details. We do not want our customers to have questions once they get off the phone. The agents go through all of the terms to expect as well as billing since we do charge after installation. I do apologize that you tried to call us multiple times and had to hold for long periods of time. We are experiencing higher than usual hold times at this time. Our agents are working hard to make sure we are answering the calls in a timely manner, but even with that we are still having to deal with high call volume and with that comes long hold time.If there is a balance that is due on the account we will send out notification that there is a balance that is due, to make sure that the account gets paid off and we do not have to send the charges to Collections.
