I do not recommend using Eagle Transmission. I waited several months to review them, AFTER I had another transmission shop rebuild it correctly & show me exactly what was done (& NOT done)that led to the transmission burning up the clutches two months after Eagle's rebuild. They kept my truck for 5 months, stated they knew about Lokar cable conversions (they didn't) & had set the Valve Body pressure to 55psi (it's supposed to be 35-40psi). The valve body had holes drilled in them for some unknown reason & the cable system was incorrectly installed & adjusted. I had two separate transmission experts examine Eagles work & it was not done correctly. Also, during my long wait, the owner stated that since I had waited so long he would simply charge me for the parts (which I prepaid $650 in advance). On the day I picked up my truck, he denied ever saying that & had I no choice but to pay $1,200 to get it back. I drove it (it ran like crap) directly to a shop to check it all out. I then took it to Mike's Transmission & he rebuilt the transmission and correctly adjusted the Lokar TV cable conversion. He worked with me & showed me each step of the way of what was done. He discovered two holes drilled in the original valve body that we can only assume was done in an attempt to lower the pressure. A Ford AOD must have the valve body pressure set by gauge to 35-40psi - any transmission shop should know that. I KNEW that. There was no reasonable excuse to: 1- Lie to me about having knowledge of Lokar systems when they obviously did not; 2-Keep my truck for 5 months; 3-NOT correctly setting the line pressure; 4-Lie to me about only paying for parts because of my long wait. 5-Sketchy rebuilding techniques. 6-Terrible customer service, i.e: communication. You wasted my time & my money. You caused me to spend MORE money to get a professional to correctly rebuild it. With these facts, I cannot & will never use Eagle again nor will I recommend them to anyone.

Donny at Eagle transmission is a great guy to deal with and knows the ins and outs of transmissions. Very fair pricing as well. I have used him for years and have always been happy with the results. He built a th400 and th350 for our hot rods 12 years ago and they are still going strong! I've had a 700r4 rebuilt by him and some other work over the past couple years.
