For Goodness Cakes

We had everything confirmed and ready for our wedding date only to find out shortly before that this business had closed. We didn't receive any phone calls or emails from the owner to tell us they would no longer be able to make our wedding cake. Luckily we were able to find someone else in time. This cake was already paid for and we haven't been able to contact them. They took our money and disappeared.

I understand that many businesses have faced many challenges during COVID. Small businesses especially as well as individuals have faced hardships. However, I do believe that it is very bad business practice for a company to keep in touch with me and confirm a new date to make my wedding cake and then go silent after I have PAID IN FULL. My wedding is two weeks away and I have had to scramble and pay for a new cake to be made for my day after this one has already been paid for!!! This is highly unprofessional for them to do this as we are all suffering due to the pandemic. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS AND PEOPLE BEWARE EVEN IF THEY HAVE GONE OUT OF BUSINESS AND DECIDE TO RETURN. This is how they operate and it's just not right.

Second Time going to this place no one answered the door. Call Sunday they said stop by Monday. Then you call the number its out of service.

Excellent customer service, they brought my vision for my boyfriends surprise 40th birthday party to life! From my first interaction they have been nothing short of amazing! I highly recommend For Goodness Cakes without reservations! Will use them for all future cakes!
