Heritage Ridge by D.R. Horton

D.R. Horton never completed the warranty repairs. They lie about everything and never keep their word. I like my house, I just wish things were fixed. It was like pulling teeth to get anything done. The neighborhood itself is just OK. Lots of disrespectful people who refuse to parent their children and also let their pets run free. The HOA is not useful for the $600 a year fee we have to pay.

Builder has a lending business for your house but they isnt that trust worthy. Have to be very careful with the lender when signing documents. They may involve in financial fraud. They act very tricky and sketchy until you sign the house. Just be aware!

I moved here 3 years ago. For the first time in my life I feel connected to a community. Everyone here is very pleasant and takes pride in this neighborhood. The amenities are always very well kept (our clubhouse, pool area, tennis courts,etc). I feel safe here walking alone throughout the neighborhood at any hour of the day. Its the first time I've felt like 'I am HOME'. Most people own their home for a decade and feel secluded. You wont find that at Heritage Ridge. Every aspect of this neighborhood is welcoming and inviting. I am extremely proud to be a part of this community! One last note, I know that most folks cringe when "HOA" is mentioned....not at Heritage Ridge. Scott Sells is our HOA director. He does an amazing job staying on top of our community rules without being annoying or intrusive. Without guidelines one might find a junkyard or appliance in a nearby neighborhoods yard-so I dont mind them because i love walking through our community and seeing how people take pride in their homes (not to mention the gains from increased home values). Its a GREAT place to live with a family or alone. You will always feel like you are part of a family living in Heritage Ridge!
