Pretty good. Eggplant spread was really good, ill ask for it without lettuce next time.BUT THEN THE ENTREE CAME... What was on the menu described as a gyro, was actually burnt hamburger meat. The Tzadiki sauce was greek yogurt. Do not go here for gyro. I maintain the eggplant appetizer was good. the rest? YUK! and $42!!! For burnt hamburger in a pita? Sorry Blu, there's nothing greek about your gyro. It would be better to tell people you dont have it rather than serve this to them at the price of $12/plate. Not to mention going skimpy on the burnt hamburger meat. But it doesn't matter because I wouldn't want to force down more of it anyways. Fix your food. Take some pride in the cuisine of your culture.

Me and a few friends of mine from the Diabetes Association of Atlanta decided to have a fundraiser at Blu this week for Diabetic Alert Dogs. The decor outside was refreshing and inviting. They had mint plants growing in the windows, and decorated the menus outside with freshly picked flowers. As soon as we walked in, i smelled incense and there were candles everywhere! WOW! What a cute eclectic restaurant! My hubby and I enjoyed a house wine selection, Kretikos Boutari (our server gave us the name to find at harrys), the flaming goat cheese, a hearty leg of lamb with mint jelly (cant remember the name its all greek to me), and a yummy piece of baklava. Contrary to the reviews, the service was prompt, quiet, and attentive! Overall, we had a great experience, the only complaint I have is that 'lounge' music was playing instead of Greek music.. but lets not be too picky here! We ended up raising a hefty sum of money for our alert dogs and for the local market at the Marietta Square and for a reasonable price.OPA!
