Contreju Jamaican Restaurant

Food is absolutely horrible. I asked for oxtails and was given roast. Rice was oldtaste like powder eggs. Cabbage had no seasoning. Waste of money!!!

I ordered a large oxtails for $30 plus and my sides(rice/peas/plantain) outweighed my main dish 10/10 would not recommend if you're craving Jamaican food

I always get the oxtail dinner. Food was really good on my last visit. The service is fast, and the cashier is always courteous.

I've been going to Contreju since about 2016. I don't know what the hell these people with these low reviews are talking about. This food is outstanding! I don't know what's wrong with these people's pallets. They obviously don't know good food when they taste it. This food has so much flavor. If I could eat it every day, I would. And the owner is so sweet. She greets me every time I come, and ask me how I'm doing. I would say the people that are saying they are rude, have no respect for their elders. I stand by Contreju. I love you guys. Keep doing what you're doing, and don't change a thing. Your food is amazing!
