This company botched the install of ceiling attic stairs in my home. Do your self a favor and look further for skilled carpentry help.

I rarely leave negative reviews but this experience called for one. I will start by saying I interviewed many contractors for a dining room rehab and Gary seemed to be the best and a lot cheaper. I was told it would take 5 days to complete. The week started off great. We even talked about him doing work in our rental and more paneling projects in my house. By Thursday he told me that his wife had scheduled him for another job on Friday and needed to finish that day. He stayed till 9 pm to do so. We regret allowing that. We should've ended at normal time as we had family obligations and wanted to go about our evening as usual. We should've had him come back to finish. I noticed a few things I wasn't happy with. He fixed quickly and we did a final walk through. Keep in mind that it was 9pm, we were all tired and going by one dining room light. Over the next few days with the natural light in the room I started noticing more and more issues that just looked like he rushed the finish work. He did this in 4 days when it was supposed to be 5 days. He didn't fill in any nail holes along the baseboards or shoe moulding. The mouldings split in several places. We did have an agreement to reuse our existing ones but if they split to the point that they are unrepairable you have to go back to the customer and tell them rather than just putting them back up that way and leaving it. One wall of moulding in the dining room would have three or four seams. So, I text his wife and asked if he could come back to address a few issues. We went back and forth a few times about a day and time. We picked a day and he never showed. My husband called and left her a voicemail. She did not call us back. I waited a few days and text her and she never responded. I'm so disappointed that what could've been an ongoing relationship ended this way. Heck, I had referred him to a few people already. I had to go back and say don't use them! All I expected was open communication about fixing it and how it would be done and if it would cost me any more money, etc. and we could've come to an agreement. I never understand how people stay in business when they don't follow up with customers. It's a shame really. In the end, I came back myself and had to countersink the nails in the paneling and fill and touch up the holes. However, I had to hire someone to fix the base and shoe moulding and paid $200 for a professional to clean the entire house of the white dust from the power sander since he did not properly secure the doorways. 6 weeks later, the room still isn't finished. I still have to repaint. It ended up costing me more in the end and far more time by going with Just 3 Home Services. Steer clear!
