My friend who is a Black woman, came here to get blood work and and drug test done for her future job. The first nurse did not listen to my friend at all, when it came to helping her find vein to do the procedure. After five to ten minutes, another nurse was able to perform the procedure because she actually communicated and listened to my friend. This is why so may Black women perish within healthcare settings because of lack of active and effective listening and communication between them and healthcare providers.

I was here 4:15 and they close by 5 and she told me everyone left and i see ppl inside still doing drug screen and she ask if i can go to the rest room i told her yeah then she tell me come later sorry everyone left

Offered a job at West Georgia Health. Went to Worx for preemployment physical. The physician there would not let me start until he got old medical records from surgery more than 10 years ago. Could not get those records right away. In meantime had an injury. Called Worx and was told dr still would not let me start job until released from dr for injury, even though I was perfectly capable of working. How can one doctor say someone cannot start a job just because he cannot get records?? Worx and West Georgia Health refused to give me letters stating they actually offered me a job. Have been in the medical field for almost 40 years and have never had a problem like this. Certainly do not want to work at West Georgia Health now!
