Don't ever buy a machine made by this company. I don't know how Home Depot or Lowes even carries their products if they still even do. Stay away.

They made Bad engine with low quality parts! My Coleman 2400psi pressure washer has a SUMEC engine on it, I can feel the poor quality from looking at it. The valve spring snaps, and I replaced with a Honda made spring and it never broke again. The carburetor is leaking gas, it’s the most poor built carburetor ever seen.

October 24, 2017 On June 3, 2017, I purchased a MIGHTY CLEAN MC1500 PRESSURE WASHER at Northerntool in San Antonio, TX. In September of the same year, the unit developed a profuse, internal leak which poured water out whether the unit was turned off or on. If the unit was on, the leak was so bad that it could not develop pressure and function. It was not leaking at the hose connection or in a place which I could address without taking the unit apart. On September 29, 2017, I contacted SUMEC North America to initiate warranty steps. I was told that I would have to ship it to the factory at MY EXPENSE, where they would either fix it and ship it back at their expense or send me a replacement unit. I refused to pay for anything for what is an obvious manufacturing flaw and on such a recently purchased unit that had very little time on it. I was subsequently informed, on October 9, that management would contact me shortly. They did not, so I contacted the same agent again on October 13 and was once again told I would be called by management shortly. No contact. I complained again on October 19. I have yet to be contacted. The company is second rate, and their product and warranty are second rate at best. I will not knowingly buy another product made or marketed by SUMEC or Mighty Clean.

Would like to compliment Peter who works in customer service. I recently had a problem with a 16 volt drill which I sent back to Sumec. After calling customer service Peter called me back more than once and took care of everything. He is a real asset to the Sumec company. He should be given a promotion and a raise.
