An awful company to work with. Ww had a leak in the kitchen and were advised to tear everything out, we waited for 3 weeks with no kitchen for insurance claim to find out how much they will cover. The answer was 0, they DO NOT cover leaks at all, they do mot cover mold either. We were left on our own to put the kitchen back together. That is, after we were promissed that not only they will cover the damage but also the meals if we have to eat out (we DID NOT ask for that, it was voluntarily offered to us). They did not bother to send an adjuster either. They just made us live without the kitchen for 3 weeks and then told us that they will not cover anything at all. After our incident, I have learned, that a lot of people had the same issue with them. When I asked the claim department what exactly do you cover, they could not ansew my question. So basically this company is a joke. DO NOT buy Allstate insurance EVER!

98% of home owner claims are water related and this company has a clause to not pay on all of them. I found this out the hard way, when I discovered a leak that was behind my sink cabinet. It was a small leak so it didn't show for a few weeks, I contacted my agent who sold me my policy, even text him pictures of the damage and told him that I'd never had a claim and didn't know what to do. He told me to tear it out and remove it due to mold and stopping the growth. So, I did just that. 3 weeks later while still waiting on the claims department they finally tell me that they will not cover a penny of the claim. I spoke with the manager and his response was, "The agent can tell you to tear it out because it's your house, you can tear out anything you want to inside your home." So, not only do I have a $10,000 kitchen repair during the pandemic but I've also been without a kitchen for months because they want to twist words.

Moved over to Allstate from Liberty Mutual and couldn't be happier. Saved a good deal of money and Joshua's team is always there if I have any questions or need to get something done. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for insurance.
