Mathnasium

This sucks! My son really need help with his math so of course I start to venture for a good program that fits his needs. Mathnasium comes up and I call the Fayetteville #. I was told the process of how the program worked. I asked my questions as I am trying to ensure this place is a good fit for my son needs. They mention an assessment and two free trials. I thought that would be an amazing idea being they could see where he was mathematically and I can review how they cater to his needs prior to signing up for the 3, 6, or 12 month plan. On a snow and icy day in Georgia, I get to the place and they take my son back for the assessment. The nice young man takes me in the office to explain the program, then he leaves for a smoothie and come back and ask me if I had any questions. I said “no.” He pulls out a paper and tell me the assessment would be $99. I must have been terribly misinformed😳😳. Get my son and end the assessment! I’ll pay for your time but not the full $99 as that was never mentioned. He proceeds to tell me the fee includes the assessment and conference and the two free trials do not cover what was discovered in the assessment. I feel bamboozled at this point, this is not how my 2018 should start! Maybe I should have inquired more before calling. I immediately called the manager who seemed apologetic and sincere about there must have been a miscommunication. I will see and revise my review if needed but this clearly did not set the tone or stage for a great experience and a great team to be formed for my son math needs. Left the place feeling mislead, misinformed and bamboozled. I’m posting this for the next parent who is seeking a solid trustworthy solution! This one experience has started very shaky for me but I will keep you posted!

Mathnasium has been very very helpful with helping my daughter in her math studies. Her teaches have noticed a significant improvement and her grades have gotten much much better!!! So grateful for the awesome staff at Mathnasium Fayetteville!!
