I would give zero stars if I could. I'm very disappointed in this business. We moved to Lake Sinclair from Lake Hartwell almost two years ago and needed a boat lift cable replaced. We contacted Seal Arc to complete the job. The cable they replaced lasted one year and broke again. I went to Seal Arc and spoke with Kathy about fixing the cable and using a thicker cable this time. Kathy agreed and said she would not charge me for materials, but she would charge me for labor. Kathy said they would make it out the following week on Wednesday. I showed up Friday evening and the cable was not replaced. I called Kathy and asked what the hold up was. Kathy explained that the job was going to take 4 people and she only sent 3 people out to replace the cable. I explained to Kathy when I stopped by the week before that the job required 4 people the last time they replaced the cable. She apologized and said she would send the crew out first thing the following week to replace the cable. I showed up again on a Friday and the cable was still not fixed. I called again and Kathy explained they were not going to be able to replace the cable. A simple courtesy call to inform me of what was going on would of been appreciated. I called another company to replace the cable. They called me back the same day and sent someone out to inspect the boat lift. Turns out that Seal Arc did not run the cable through the pulleys correctly and the pulleys and cable were pulling on each other until the cable popped. Seal Arc might seem like a reasonable price compared to the other companies, but in the long run it's costing me more money. Terrible customer service and an inexperienced work crew. Do yourself a favor and call another business.
