        I went by the store 3/8. I was looking for a sewing machine cabinet. I was talking with a sales associate when another customer approached with a question and my sales associate abandoned me to help her. I stood there thinking for sure she would come back to assist me. Nope never retuned. I walked around again thinking she would find me. I left after 15 minutes. Guess they didnt need a sale because I was ready to buy.

        They called and told me my sewing machine was fixed and ready for pickup. Drove all the way there to find out they couldnt fix it Charged me 50$ .Not once did they call me telling me they couldnt fix it. Thieves. Dishonest store.

      Hi, Margaret - I am truly disappointed that you had this experience in our store. I am wondering if you are the customer I sent over to the store from the Sewing Expo event around the corner from the store at the Gas South Convention Center. We staffed the Expo between our 3 stores but customer traffic was quite heavy at times on Friday and Saturday. However, that is no excuse for poor service and I'd like to try to make it up to you.       Laurie - I am sorry you had a negative experience in our store. It is written on the work order at the time of check-in that we charge $49.99 as a minimal fee assessed to diagnose the issue with the machine. This process can take considerable time on the bench of our technicians and does present a time associated cost to the service and repair process. While this charge is written on the receipt when you check your machine in, it should also be explained to you at that time.
