Horrible customer service out of Carolina carports. I have been getting the run around about scheduling my building for months now. I was told a few weeks ago would get a call within a few days to schedule because I was next. I didn't get that call. I was told today it will be early December before they might schedule. I knew things have been slightly delayed but if I had know this would be happening I would have went with a totally different company. I see reviews about how poor the contractor work is out of Carolina carports now... I am nervous about how it will be assembled now. I'm also having to pay an arm and a leg from where we moved for a storage unit while I wait around for this. They are also holding up another contractor that has been trying to schedule putting up a fence around my property. They seem like they couldn't care less when I tell them that. Was told during a phone call that they don't make any guarantee for a time frame for anything over $5,000 even though their company is on the BBB site stating that they do when responding to the other complaints. Update - I've been rescheduled twice so far. Now it is supposedly coming Friday. Hopefully they will actually make it instead of coming up with another excuse. Sounds like this company needs a whole new planning department. New update - Building is up and constructed very poorly. Gaps along the bottom edge, some parts are cut too long and are flared out. The bad thing is you can see the chalk line where they were supposed to cut and didn't even cut there. The roll up door frame is mounted too wide to where the door seal on the bottom doesn't seal at all. The beams are from a previous project and have holes in them from screws that were taken out. The roof over hang is sticking out too far.. about 7-8 inches on one side and just a couple inches on the other. One wall is concave and the other wall is bowed out, the window leaks. The beams that make up the wall frames aren't mounted flush to the floor beams and are being held up by a couple screws on each side. The walk through door has screws missing from a mounting on the bracket bottom. They want payment for a bad job, and said they can't get a contractor back out until after the first of the year.
