We called A & C yesterday because we are experiencing what appears to be an issue with backlog in our septic system. He agreed to be here at 8:30am the following morning. At 9:30am we texted to make sure we were still on the schedule. We received a quick response indicating he would be here after he emptied truck tank. Fast forward to 12:15pm when he arrived. He measured the depth of the tank and indicated it was too deep to dig without an excavator and would not be able to do it the same day. The excavator would also come at a significant cost increase. He told my spouse if we wanted to dig it up ourselves, he would come back to finish the job. I am not familiar with services required for septic problems, but I am familiar with basic customer service. I felt as if our issue was more of inconvenience to his schedule than an opportunity to provide a service to a customer in need. There may have been a good reason why it couldn't be done in that moment. I am pretty understanding in these circumstances; even if it might result in a prolonged inconvenience to my household. I feel like the delivery of the explanation and the suggestion to dig it up ourselves was unnecessarily rude especially after waiting three hours after our scheduled appointment. I did appreciate him contacting us after he left to give us the name of someone who could possibly get to us the same day. I gave an extra star for this gesture since it resulted in booking our next appointment with someone who was more than happy to accept.

Did quick satisfying work. Showed up at the time we agreed upon and got started instantly instead of standing around like other people. Will use for now on for septic needs.
