I found Spaulding Dentistry after visiting another dentist in the Decatur area and having a horrible experience. From the moment I walked into the office I knew this place was different. The staff is personable, friendly, and help you feel at ease. Dr. Spaulding is also super friendly and extremely thorough in her examinations. Lastly, I haven't like I was trying to be recommended for procedures I did not need, unlike some other dental practices. I hope to be a patient here for years to come.

Best dentist around. Extremely professional and accommodating. I've been going for years. A while back, I opted for Invisalign and Dr. Spaulding and her team have taken such good care of me throughout the entire process. Now, I very much look forward to going to the dentist and seeing all the awesome folks! Couldn't recommend more.

Title: Beware of Hidden Charges and Unreliable Service at Spaulding Dentistry! ------Reply to your response : Since you are in network of EUSHIP Aenta(All Emory student's insurance co)and lots of your clients are Emory students. Clearly your team know EUSHIP cover max $1000/year for dental which Aenta already paid to you for our service. I don't know what else we can discuss with insurance co? Your team already know it prior the service. How the extra cost $512 came out after 7 months of the service? The services on the bill you mailed to us also higher than the one Aenta mailed to us. Can you explain these? -------- As a dissatisfied customer, I feel compelled to share our unfortunate experience with Spaulding Dentistry, located near Emory University campus. Initially, we had high hopes for their services, given their proximity and purported expertise in catering to Emory students and alumni. However, my kids encounter has left me deeply disappointed and disillusioned. At begin of last year, my kid sought dental treatment and was presented with a cost for the required procedure. Trusting in their professionalism, we agreed to proceed with the treatment, fully expecting that the cost would accurately reflect the final bill. To my dismay, after completing the treatment, we were blindsided by an additional charge of $512 after 7 months later. This unexpected expense was justified by the clinic as being beyond the initial estimate, citing various reasons which, upon closer inspection, seemed dubious at best. It became evident that Spaulding Dentistry had conveniently failed to disclose certain crucial information regarding potential additional costs. What's particularly galling is the fact that Spaulding Dentistry is well aware of the insurance limitations of Emory students' plan with a maximum annual coverage of $1000 for dental services. And the treatment is their regular service, the cost of which they know well. Despite this knowledge, the clinic neglected to inform us that there would be an unexpected and exorbitant extra charge later on. It's worth noting that we had already paid a substantial sum of $1236 prior to the commencement of the treatment. Furthermore, the proximity of Spaulding to the Emory campus, coupled with the presence of Emory alumni among their staff, creates an impression of trustworthiness and reliability. Regrettably, our experience has shattered this illusion, revealing them to be nothing more than a deceptive and unscrupulous establishment preying on unsuspecting students and alumni. In hindsight, had I been adequately informed about the potential for additional charges exceeding our budget, we would have opted to seek dental treatment elsewhere, perhaps even traveling back to my home state of New Jersey to utilize my existing insurance plan without incurring any extra costs. In conclusion, we caution prospective patients against entrusting their dental care to this dentist. Their lack of transparency, coupled with their willingness to exploit insurance limitations for financial gain, renders them unworthy of your trust and patronage. Steer clear of this unreliable dentist if you value transparency, integrity, and fair treatment.
