Camp Smiles Pediatric Dentistry

Let me start off by saying this place is good and Dr. Camp is great! However, the staff at the front desk are inadequate of doing their job and unfriendly. I made the appointment for my 2yr olds first visit. They had sent me the insurance form to fill out however, I didnt have insurance information with me, so I was not able to complete it 3 days prior like they asked me to. When I called them to confirm my appointment, I asked them if that was okay. The front desk lady said that was ok, I could just file a claim with my insurance later. I did so and paid the full amount for the visit, but my insurance only reimbursed me 1/3 of the payment. I had to call them 5 times before I finally receive a call back from the office manager. However, when I received the call she did not even try to help me. All she would say is we cant reimburse you anything because we considered you a full pay patient on the visit day. I tried to explain to them what the lady had told me on the day. But, the office manager kept repeating we considered you as a full payment patient. Its not our job to tell you full amount wont be reimbursed by your insurance. Worst part was that she did not feel bad about the situation at all. Had I known this was going to happen, I would have just rescheduled my appointment to be able to use my insurance. I will not be going back to this place again.

This place seems very poorly managed. There website does not work to contact them nor fill out the forms. They say they accept all these various insurances and when you call they tell you they don't. It is very odd and the staff is not friendly. Very happy that my child will not be going here, because of how the staff acted.

This place is incredible. My kids love coming.

Dr Camp gave my daughter the most personal one on one appt after having a toddler meltdown. She did her full cleaning herself when she did not have to! The staff was also on point!! Im so happy I found this practice!
