The pharmacy at this location is awful! They take forever to fill anything! The one we went to before we moved here could fill a prescription in less than an hour. This pharmacy consistently takes longer than 3 hours to fill anything.

Impossible to talk to a human over the phone. Always long lines. Multiple times have been told medicine will be ready in 20 min only for it to be ready hours later

One star is giving them so much more credit than they deserve. I'm talking about the Pharmacy here.First of all, like all retail pharmacies, the pay is so horrible and the work is so thankless, that there is a high turnover rate. I blame the corporation. I used to work at Rite Aid/Walgreens for 5+ years, so I know. The problem though, is that these technicians are not trained. There is virtually no training. I'm tired of getting there and having my medicines messed up and then I have to tell them how to fix it.If a very common medicine that a lot of people get, is coming up as $90, that should sound odd to a technician. They should immediately check the patient (I.e. me in this case) profile to see how much they paid for it before. "Hmm...she paid zero? I wonder why that is?" and then click on it and it will tell you how I paid for that medicine. And that means that the $90 was run through a different way. I hope that makes sense to those reading my reviews.I have told those technicians (nicely!) that they need to check my profile. That's the first thing you learn as a tech, it's tech 101!! CHECK THE PATIENT PROFILE! If a medicine that a patient has never had before comes up high, problem solve! Run it through Good RX, insurance, and any way you can to bring it to the lowest point. Then call the patient and ask them, "Hey! We ran this medicine through a,b, & c, and the lowest price we can get it is for this. Do you still want it? If not, call the doctor and have them write something new." I have just one medicine that is not covered by insurance, that I get with GoodRx. The others are paid from my insurance. When it's time for that medicine, I ALWAYS have to tell them how to run it. To make sure to not run it through insurance, but GoodRx. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DO IT!!! They should CHECK MY PROFILE to see how I have paid for it in the past. I shouldn't have to hold their hand. I know what I'm doing, so I can't imagine people that don't, or older (even younger as well) people trying to navigate this. Today, another regular prescription came in an hour after the one that I told to use GoodRx. They did exactly what I hoped they wouldn't. They didn't check my profile and ran them both under GoodRx. "That will be $90!" Umm... girl, are you going to pay $90 for a generic, very basic medicine? Does that sound right to you?One time I even told the pharmacist over the phone where nobody could hear about how he needed to train his technicians. He was so dismissive of me. I'm just so tired of telling them how to run each medicine, as I shouldn't have to, and how to go in my profile. I have also had to ask before for them to read the screen to me and what button to press. Ugh! Walgreens, actually pay for real training. You have the money. This location is worse at this than any surrounding. The Hiram location is better.

I got 3 vaccines yesterday. I think a couple of them might have been spoiled. My arms are not sore at all and I have no side effects whatsoever from any of them. That's near impossible. I had the COVID, flu, and shingles vaccine all at once. I have always felt terrible with a very sore arm after every flu shot or COVID shot. This is I am almost positive why and why I probably won't go back after my 2nd booster for Shingles for any vaccines: It's not the employees that are rude or anything... It's about procedure...The employees are very nice. When I checked in the lady at the register pull an entire box of all kinds of vaccines out of the refrigerator and brought them over to the computer register in front of me. She shuffled through them to find the ones I needed. Then started very slowly and often interrupted by other staff, entering each of the three into the computer to make sure insurance covered it. Now this entire time all the vaccines where out of the refrigerator. Not just the ones I was going to take, but all kinds of other boxes with vials in them... getting warmer. Many vaccines MUST be kept under a certain temperature or they are worthless and you get no benefit, everyone loses money, and you still get dangerous sick. So as this pharmacy clerk took 15 minutes to get everything checked she finally told me to go sit down "the pharmacist would call me to do the shots soon."... Then 30 minutes later I'm still sitting there, my appointment was at 4:15, I got there at 4, it's now 4:45 I go ask what's going on as they don't seem that busy. Literally no one... Absolutely no one came inside past me during this to pick up an order... so the lady says again "he almost done" I am wondering have my vaccines been sitting out this entire time? That would be 45 minutes. But really it doesn't matter because if the front pharmacy clerk pulls the vaccines out of the refrigerator everytime a patient comes in and the vaccines are exposed to up and down temperature changes everyday throughout the day they are all worthless anyway. The pharmacist was extremely nice after I finally got to see him after waiting 45 minutes. They were probably busy at the drive through or something.
