Rack Room Shoes

They seemed nice, it was a clean store, but there were maybe 5 pairs - not styles - of wide width shoes on display. And for the record, relaxed is not the same thing at all.

I just left this location around 8:30 pm on 4/16/22. Ruthie was able to check out a white woman and her son with a smile on her face while I was standing in line. Once she checked them out, she stormed off and went to the back. I know she saw me. I stood there for a second and Anna came to check me out. I asked for Anna for Ruthies name and told her what happened her response was oh. Im pretty sure it was racism. I checkout, went to Kohls and came back to my car and saw Ruthie gladly helping a while man check out through the glass. This was a horrible experience and I only bought the shoes because the next day was Easter. Ruthie definitely needs some diversity and customer service training. Will never spend my money at Rack Room Shoes again! Also my son will surely wear the shoes for Easter and they will be returned the next day!

I was in today with my boyfriend looking for a new pair of shoes. While needing assistance we asked Ruthi for some advice and assistance. Not only was she kind, but very helpful as well. All together we were very pleased with the service provided by Ruthi. After coming to leave my review about Ruthi I noticed the one below mine, I do not believe Ruthi to be a racist as my boyfriend is a person of color. She is was very kind & greeted us with a smile & a helping hand. We will definitely be returning to this store for all future needs.
