My first visit since it changed owners, it was terrible. I ordered fried chicken and mashed potatoes. I thought this would be safe to try. The oil tasted old and weird. Everything tasted left over. I barely ate anything off my plate and they never ask, "Was everything alright?" Guess they don't care. I would never go back

Awful. Awful. AWFUL! We had looked forward to eating here for some time and when we finally did, it was horrible. When we heard a couple from the next table say that the potato salad was bad, we almost left. We SHOULD have left. Everything tasted awful and nothing was fresh. Even the ketchup was bad! When we were leaving, one of the "cooks" was arguing with his girlfriend using profanity right in front of my 12 year old and 4 month old. And to top it all of, the bill was insanely high! Close to $50 for food that was worse than cafeteria food. Even comparing it to cafeteria food is demeaning to cafeteria food. Don't eat here-you'll regret it!

We ate at ma'gooch on feb 26th 2013, they advertise fresh home cooked vegetables and food, we ordered the 10 oz ribeye with mashed potatoes and corn, and corn bread. the steak was fairly good, but we could taste immediately the instant mashed potatoes, NOT FRESH, but instant, did not have any flavor, for those that tried instant mashed potatoes before, you can really taste the difference between fresh and out of the bag, and even the package of every instant mashed potatoes tells you to add butter, salt and pepper for flavor, they didn't even do that. the corn we had you could taste that it was straight out of the can ( even frozen corn heated in a microwave bag tastes better then the corn we had) and the corn bread was so dry it was hard to digest. We will not come back to the restaurant ever, If i wanted to eat canned food i would eat at home instead of going to a restaurant. I posted a very constructive comment on their facebook page and they deleted it and banned me from their website, I guess that is why you will probably see only good comments, I truly feel Ma'gooch posted them to make themselves look good. I am nor trying to be mean, is just that i wish that this restaurant will go that extra mile for their customers and serve fresh food, i would not mind to pay an extra $3.00 for a better meal.
