Great place to eat if you have an hour to spare. Clever combinations of foods and recipes that you don't see very often. Recommend the Tarred and Feathered, as well as the Scottish Egg. Staff is friendly and attentive. A very popular place to eat and can get crowded/slow at lunch time.

The breakfast foods are delicious. The eggs are local and you can definitely taste it. The french dip is wonderful from the lunch/dinner menu. However, something has happened to the atmosphere. I have been here a few times. The service is okay. But the atmosphere has gotten this "We're doing great so why bother trying" mood. In the past when I have checked out, the owners ask how everything was and make small talk. I went on Tuesday November 27 and I even complimented the chefs but the owners seemed like they were indicating "Okay just let me swipe your credit card." The waitress I had was okay. I went in after the lunch crowd so maybe they were exhausted. There were not a lot of people there. But I feel that the service/atmosphere could have been better even in down time. Plus, their waffle maker is probably never going to get fixed. I literally thought about donating one for Christmas but changed my mind after my last visit. The food is wonderful and I do love it so I'll probably go back. But they need their old atmosphere back.
