Children's Pediatric Center

This practice has failed to communicate with parents during their closure. Even before they closed it was common to wait over an hour to be seen. That was bothersome, but tolerable. However this closure has shown that they do not have our families well being in mind. They have been About to reopen for many months now. Getting a copy of medical records or a refill has been near impossible the entire time.

We loved Dr. Anderson and his wife! They were both really good with my son when we took him here, but there were just a few things that frustrated me. The first and foremost were the insane wait times. We always waited for over an hour for any appointment and it was ROUGH with a wild one year old boy. We moved down to Woodstock and ended up switching primarily because of the wait times but also because of the nurses. There were a few that were really sweet, but most of them were just really rough with my son or just seemed uncomfortable with kids, which is weird for a pediatric practice. It got to the point that he would scream and cry anytime we walked into the office, which broke my heart and that was when we ultimately decided to switch.

I love the doctors here but the nurses!!!! Omg the worst I've been here several times and everytime I go I always seem to catch them on their "bad" Day how are you going to work at a children's office but yet act like you hate children?!?! Their rude, very unprofessional they have little to no patience with kids and honestly the worst there's only two ladys there and they are BOTH unprofessional.

So I have mixed feelings. I really love the doctors and most of the staff but Lizette is very rude and not helpful. I called to get a simple letter just saying my son can take his lunch because his pre-k requires a doctors letter. I was told a message will be sent to the doctor and I will get a call back. Well I never received a call back and when i went into the office today they made me sit an hour just for her to tell me she will send a message to the doctor and that I should have remembered who I talked to. And the doctor doesnt write those types of letters.

UNPROFESSIONAL FRONT OFFICE STAFF!!! Lizette says she is the office manager and is probably the most unpleasant person Ive spoken to over the phone in a very long time. She lacks interpersonal skills and professional! Extremely rude and incompetent. Hung up on me mid sentence and when I called back she refused to provide her supervisors name so I am leaving a review so this is brought to the attention of someone immediately!!
