A blessing in disguse. The men and women here really are spical doing what they do it's always difficult wrapping your head around being homeless alone but being a mother on top of that can take a toll on you. This program not only provided a safe haven for my son and I but along with the help and guidance of my advisor helped me find financial stability. I met so many good people volunteers and other mothers in this program along the way though at times it wasn't easy we all became a family. The amount of support you get at this place is so unreal and I thank God that even though we where going through this sutuation my son never felt the burden of any of it. Thank you thank you thank you Home of Hope!

I was reading all the negative reviews about Home of Hope, but honestly, those are the same people who probably did not want to change. If you go into Home of Hope, you must want a difference in life, Not just a place for you and your kids to lay your head. They can lead you to the water, but they cannot make you drink it. I stayed for a year when I say Ashley, Renita, Bridget, Maureen, Eric, and Angie that is no longer there. They helped me and were very patient and understanding because they knew I wanted a difference in life for me and my kids. If you follow the rules and complete the program, you can achieve great outcomes here. Trust me, I left with a decent amount of savings, and they provided me with housing, whether it was temporary or permanent. I am grateful for their support and help in finding the missing piece to my puzzle. Without this program, I would not be where I am today. Thank you, home, for everything. You guys are the best!

I was at Home of Hope last year (2023). I personally have recorded audio saved on my phone of Renita (the director) and her staff telling me that my 1 year old daughter and I had exactly TWO days to pack all of our stuff and find somewhere else to go. Their exact words were wasting their time. Mind you they knew I had no family in Georgia and was on my own since I was pregnant struggling to do Anything and Everything I could to make sure I didnt loose my daughter. They just laughed/shrugged it off and said how it wasnt their problem (also in the recorded audio). At the time I was 18 years old so it was very difficult to process and understand but now I am doing better relocated in Florida. They were definitely a learning experience and KARMA is a real thing in this world so wish them the best. Hopefully they are able to get it together because these reviews are not getting any better.

It took me year's to come and write this review. So, first off, this shelter is really nice. You have a restroom in your room, access to a washer and dryer, and a kitchen (I can't remember if you're allowed to cook or not). I won't lie and say the program isn't a good one because I believe it is if you're ready to do your part. I came here when I was young, and I really shouldn't have come. I regret it to this day only because I wasn't ready for the help. I wasn't ready to end my relationship and be a single mom. I was dishonest and a little manipulative. I think in order for you to be successful in this program, you should first remain as transparent as possible, and you might have to bite your tongue a few times. I was asked to leave after telling Renita, "I didn't owe her anything; I needed to tell her anything." And Maureen was present and said, "Yes, you do." I remember immediately apologizing and then feeling terrible, not because of what I said but because after Maureen said we had to leave, I literally begged for us to stay. I would never do that again, so with that being said, if you're ready to tuck your tail between your legs and not stand up for yourself or your children, This is the place for you. Also, I don't know if she's still there, and I've forgotten her name. She was the receptionist during the time my children and I were there. She was so, so kind even after we were kicked out, she still allowed me to come get the important documentation I was expecting. Renita and Maureen wanted it returned to the sender.
