Peak Academic Coaching

Peak Academic Coaching has changed my life! My son struggles with severe dyslexia and ADD. It was a constant battle of trying to help him remember to turn in homework, study for tests, and meet with his teachers for extra help. PAC has stepped in and taken over all of those battles. Now, I can spend my time just being his mom. We have an amazing tutor/coach that comes to our house and works one on one with our son. PAC spent time getting to know my son’s interest and was able to match him with the perfect person. His grades have significantly gone up, but more importantly, his confidence is steadily improving. We are forever grateful to PAC and highly recommend them to anyone in need.

The very best recommendation for a tutor is the one from the 16 year old boy that did not want to walk down this path a year ago and now when I ask for his input he says “give as many stars as you can... is it a rate 1-10 thing? “10” for sure whatever the highest possible is give that” We started working with PAC in November of 2020 and have seen not just a positive turn around in our sons grades but more importantly his attitude towards getting the work done. I truly believe that stepping away as parents and giving him accountability and support from another individual has let him mature as an individual and a student. For his parents, the best outcome has been the return to a positive relationship that we now have with him on a day to day basis.

This past summer when we were gearing up for back to school after the 6-month quarantine break, I knew my rising 9th grader would need help getting back into the swing of things. His ADHD has made school challenging under normal circumstances, so I knew it would be even more of a struggle starting high school with this "new normal" after having been out of school for so long. I reached out to Josh at Peak Academic Coaching, and I'm so glad I did. The academic coach my son works with 2½ hours a week is not only incredibly smart and a terrific teacher; but he is friendly, respectful and very professional as well. Most importantly though, my son looks up to him and wants to do well in part because of him. He is able to relate to his coach and sees in him a great example of what hard work and dedication to your education can do. Our coach has helped my son get a handle on his HS curriculum, become more organized and more independent, and has motivated him to want to try harder. For all of that, I am extremely grateful! I would highly recommend Peak Academic Coaching to any parent looking for someone to help their child get ahead or stay ahead in school.
