The owner of the company was explain the job very clearly in person and they know what they are doing all the time. From start to finish it was very trust-able. Professional job skills and friendly crews. Thank you so much!

I will certainly work with this company again. Great at staying in contact with me schedule wise. They do quick and great work. Very efficient and do exactly what we asked at a great price. Highly recommended company!

Dont use them under any pretext. Their unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and complete absence of trustworthiness is not worth whatever lower price they might initially give you compared to other companies. In short: we are more than a month after the end of the job, Oliver and his crew have been paid in full for a long while, and we are left with - A big pile of leftover wood thats probably worth $500 removing, - Numerous broken promises on when that wood would be removed, - $100 extra on the bill that was announced the day before the job started, - A broken deck rail neither Oliver nor his crew did not have the decency to tell us about, - A loose telephone cable that Oliver and his crew retightened by tucking it under our yard fence (again we were not told about this at all and only realized it after the fact), - Hours spent trying to get Oliver to complete the job by removing the wood from our front yard, - A very bad and stressful overall experience - In long: Our experience very much resembles that Matt H. describes in his review. It all started feeling rusty when Oliver increase the original quote by $100 the day before the job was planned. On that same day, he told us the payment method we agreed upon would not work and that we had to make last minute adjustments to pay him, ideally in cash. At the end of day one, he told us someone would have to be at home on day two to pay the dump truck because he did not have the liquidity to do it, something we never agreed upon, and that started to seem very fishy. He agreed we could pay him with Zelle and he would then take care of the dump truck as he should have anyways. But then this was not enough and, on day two, he got us involved in the middle of our workday with paying the dump truck anyways. In the end, he tricked us into paying him the full amount before the job was fully done by asking me money via Zelle, and asking my wife who was at home to write a check to the dump truck driver. After this, we were actually $50 over the initially agreed price. He went to get cash but came back with only $40 saying this was the best he could do. Really, how can you reasonably run a business with jobs paying in the thousands and be so strapped for liquidities that you are $10 close to bankruptcy? Obviously, he was just trying to get more money from us, however little, by any means possible. Last but not least, he left without removing the last big pile of wood, saying he would come back at the latest two days later (Thursday) to finish the job (remember, hes already been paid in full and more at this point). On Thurday, nothing. We send a reminder. He sasy he will come Friday. Friday, oh surprise, his truck unexpectedly has to go to the garage. He promises he will be there on the next business day. Monday nothing. Promises he will get the job done soon. Ill spare you the countless excuses weve received since then. A month later, the wood is still there, and it is really starting to feel like he planned it all from the start hoping we would get tired, hire somebody else to remove that last big pile of wood, and that in the process, he could steal a little more money from us again.

I had really high expectations for All Steps Covered. Had good reviews for tree trimming and removal here and on Thumbtack. The work was to remove a fell limb that was still in an oak tree. The quote was reasonable and we agreed to a set price for the work to be done.Oliver and his crew arrive a day late at 4 in the afternoon to begin working. Since I was working in Oregon this week, my wife and neighbor told me they used a truck to yank the limb out of the tree. When the limb came out, it pulled the electric service line off the house. With the power on the ground and across the street, Oliver and company continued to cut the limb and branches with a live power line on the ground. They only stopped when the fire department can to cut the lines off the street.I attempted to call and text Oliver multiple times to assess the situation, but he would not answer or respond. He then proceeded to call me 30 minutes later to say everything was OK, but the power company needed to reattach the service line to the house. He had some friends that could do it real cheap. Unfortunately, a certified electrician would know that you need a permit to have service lines attached and inspected. Since I have a relationship with a trusted electrician, I called them out to perform the work that evening. All the while, I let Oliver know that he would be responsible for the electrician invoice, but I would still pay him our negotiated price to which he agreed. Throughout the weekend, he would send me rambling texts about how he was losing money on the job, questioning my integrity and being a general pest. When the invoice arrived, it was $115 greater than out agreed upon price for his work and he refused to pay any of it. He is where it went from bad to worse. He then proceeded to blame everyone else for his mistake, saying the electrician was overpriced, the city electric service was lazy, I was at fault for not getting 3 estimates before having the work done and that I should have just used his buddies because they are cheap and I didn't need a certified electrician to do the work. I finally told him I would pay the electrician invoice, but he would get nothing from me. I have never dealt with such a negative person as Oliver and All Steps Covered, nor treated so poorly. Please do not use them for any work, no matter how good a deal he offers or how nice he appears. He is not a kind individual and will treat you poorly if he makes a mistake on your property.
