    I've been going here for years, every month, and now all of a sudden every phone number is disconnected so I don't know what to do!! I'm not on medications you can just stop taking... What's going on???

    I have been a patient for 3 years and in the beginning there were some hiccups with the office staff but it has since been resolved and everyone on staff is very efficient. I owe HMS possibly my life for helping me. The staff DOES really care about you and they do listen to your needs and fulfill them. Dr. J is a heartfelt woman and can offer a variety of services whether one on one or group or even spiritual. Dont listen to all the upset people who may of had to wait. Each persons level of care cannot be fit into a 30 min session and that is good they will take all the time they need with you.

    My family have been patients @ Heritage Medical Solutions since 2009. Dr. Jay and her staff have always been very pleasant. They're a very punctual, well organized Doctors offices as a whole, I have referred many people to Heritage Medial Solutions, simply because Dr. Jay and her staff understand that each patient has different needs and they're always willing to go the extra mile to accommodate their patients needs. They make you feel as if you actually matter and are not just another Patient ID #, as many of the bigger establishments do. Thank you Dr. Jay and Staff!!

    I have been a patient at Heritage for approx. 4 yrs now. I will say that most of THE visits I've had, I have had to wait longer than 30 min. for my appt. I WILL also say that I have been late (AND I MEAN REALLLLLLLY LATE, sometimes several hours) to several appts myself. EVERY single time I was seen, even if the staff had to wait until way past closing to see me due to traffic or an emergency. Just to make clear what the negative reviews say, I will 1st and foremost tell you that Dr. J and the PA's there ALL KNOW EACH PATIENT individually. I know for a fact that I have walked out of that building with a prescription, a controlled substance,that by accident, the doctor had not signed, and NO ONE in the office would or could for that matter sign the script when I took it back even after it was completely filled out, except for the signature. I had to leave it and return for it later, AFTER THE DOCTOR SIGNED IT, and pick it back up. AND KNOW THIS, IF A DOCTOR OR ANYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER IS SEEING AN INDIVIDUAL FOR MENTAL HELP AND WRITING YOU OR YOUR CHILDREN A PRESCRIPTION THAT ALTERS THE CHEMICALS IN YOUR BRAIN, OR helping you with some issues you obviously couldn't figure out for yourself (not all people see a psychiatrist for medications, but for therapy), WOULD YOU WANT SOMEONE THAT UNDERSTANDS WHAT IS GOING ON? OR AS SOME PEOPLE ON HEAR HAVE COMPLAINED, WANT TO BE IN AND OUT WITH THEIR "PILLS" ASAP. I PAID MY MONEY, NOW GIVE ME MY PILLS!!!!!!!!! Now to me, I feel that the time and compassion, and yes sometimes blunders with the office staff, have ALL been worth the sometimes several hour wait time. I mean I have children with ADHD that are treated by someone that I am positively sure knows whats going on with them & ALL the patients. Ensuring that the dosage is correct, the same type of drugs in the past in the same group or modes of action that may or may not be working, or health effects that other doctors i know NEVER disclose, alternate types of meds, and or information, including help for the uninsured, and or samples, or coupons for discounts even when you are insured if its available!! I know for a fact this doctor DOESN'T go by what the so called main stream medicaid motto is "GIVE THEM ALL THE SAME THING AND CALL IT A DAY" attitude. I have had conversations about that very topic, as she has went to bat several times for a 1 multi-use medication instead of prescribing 7 different meds, with NO avail with Medicaid. As we all know from hearing all the speeches about the insurance and pharm. companies dominating the medical industry, making money off ALL of us! Keeping everyone all doped up on crap that doesnt work or spending millions of tax payers (and self-pay patients) hard earned money. SO WITH THIS BEING SAID, I DRIVE OVER 2 HOURS TO SEE THIS DOCTOR BECAUSE SHE ACTUALLY DOES CARE ABOUT YOU, THE PATIENT AND NOT ABOUT CREATING AN "EMPIRE"! IT ISNT AT ALL ABOUT THE MONEY OR THOSE PATIENTS WOULD BE IN AND OUT SO FAST WITH THEIR PRESCRIPTIONS, SHE'D HAD ENOUGH CASH TO RETIRE YEARS AGO! SO CUT THE CRAP, IF YOUR THERE TO GET HELP, AND YOU WANT TO SEE SOMEONE WHO REALLY REALLY CARES, YOU'VE FOUND THE PLACE! IF YOUR THERE TO GET A FIX, WELL I GUESS THIS PLACE ISNT FOR YOU! THERE ARE PLENTY OF "CANDY MAN" DOCTORS OUT THERE THAT WILL YOU GET YOU IN & OUT IN A FLASH! But I know & u know that THE only PERSON YOUR REALLY HELPING IS YOU GET HIGH, THE DOCTOR DRIVE A NICE NEW CAR, & LIVE IN A NICE NEW HOME ON YR DIME! OH AND TO YOU "FREQUENT FLYERS" & PARENTS TRYING TO USE MEDICATION AS A "BABYSITTER" FOR THEIR CHILDREN..... SINCE YOU HAVE DECIDED NOT TO CONT. AT HERITAGE AS A PATIENT, THOSE OF US THAT ARE SINCERE & SERIOUS ABOUT OUR TREATMENT, THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR WAIT TIMES LESS! THAT'S 1 LESS PERSON IN FRONT OF US IN LINE MAKING UP SYMPTOMS TO GET THEMSELVES OR THEIR CHILDREN HIGH!

    The previous reviewer who quipped about "The Heritage Empire" couldn't be more correct. After all, it takes a lot of money to build an empire, and that is ALL this doctor's office is after: money! Quite literally, the first thing they want from you is $$$$$$. I've never been to another doctor's office who bills right up front; most wait until after the appointment to ask for your money. Is Dr. J an intelligent, personable woman? Yes, I'd most certainly agree. However, I stopped going here after many years because the prices kept rising right along with the waiting times. Due to the utter, pervasive disorganization, getting a simple prescription written for a non-controlled medication was a ridiculous hassle. Sure, you can pay $250 (plus $50 for a urine test) up front and then wait 3 or 4 hours to see a doctor for 5 minutes, but wait...what's that? You'd like to leave with a prescription for the drug they've been prescribing you for years? "You can pick it up next week, probably Thursday..." That's a direct quote! They may even offer to "phone it in..." I wouldn't advise that, either. Other reviewers have done a good job of commenting on the goings-on at Heritage Solutions, so I'll end with this: in the dozens of appointments I've had here, I've not experienced ONE single time where at least one patient didn't lose their temper (rightfully so) due to some easily preventable SNAFU or interminable wait. There are other, better-managed doctors offices out there. Find one, please. You won't regret it!
