Very poor workmanship. They never return phone calls and once they take your money, they never even come back to finish the job. Ed (the owner) makes promises that he does not keep and does not fulfill the obligations he commits to. I would strongly caution anyone to AVOID Duffey and Company.

I recently had my deck rebuilt by Duffey and Company. The service could not have been any better. From the first meeting to the last day of construction, my expectations were met. The crew showed up each day like clock work. I was excited each day to see the progress. When I had changes to the original plan, the plan was readjusted to meet the expectations. I would recommend and will be using Duffey and Company for future projects.

Approximately 18 months ago, my father had a complete renovation and addition done by this company. While most of the work done was satisfactory. Many of the final projects evolved into a virtual nightmare. Roof leaks, floors squeak, buckled siding left unrepaired and multiple cosmetic issues. Replacement of the front door was part of the renovation and apparently was a sore spot for Mr Duffey because HE chose the door. My parents said that they did not care for the door style but he assured us if they didn't like it once he installed it, he would change it. After it was installed, they disliked it and he said the door was what he would change, not the frame and side glass. The side glass was the problem. Long story short, my father ended up finding the door he wanted and asked Duffey to change it. After this event, phone calls stopped being returned and communications with Duffey became almost nonexistent. We are still fighting to get some of these things fixed and repaired. Not sure if Duffey is going to make it right or not. Once he gets his money, good luck getting him to back up his work...
