BUA Thai + Sushi Restaurant

Update: Been coming here for years now. Unfortunately off late after COVID the quality has been a steady decline. Portions are smaller, skimpier on the ingredients, the curry is watery and even the rice isn’t as sticky as it used to be. It’s just an average plus restaurant now. They don’t use real wasabi (root) either in their Sushi, they use the cheaper horseradish colored green. Downgrading from 5 to 4. Original: One of the best Thai restaurants in Atlanta. Second to NaaN in midtown. They have a great Sushi bar as well with authentic fresh Wasabi root (not the Horseradish that most places pass off as Wasabi).

This spot is great and roomy, the food was delightful and the prices were very fair. quick, efficient service and very attentive staff members. Recommended.

Dined here last night and they charged $5 for thai iced tea (listed price $3) and $3 for plain rice (listed price $1.50). These prices are clearly listed on the menu and there was no upcharge notice. With 2 thai iced teas and a plain rice on our bill, they sneaked in an extra $5.50 unethically. I will not be dining here again. Edit: This response from management below is inaccurate. The prices on the menu are as I listed and any verbal changes to prices were not stated. Also, who would pay $5 for iced tea if that's what were written on the menu?

This is my neighborhood go to Thai restaurant place. I love their sushi and the food looks very nice. Nice atmosphere and the price isn’t too bad. I love the outdoor seating during warm nights
