For the prices of the dishes, I would expect the food quality to be better. The dish I was most disappointed in was the cauliflower rice. Everything in the dish was previously frozen. The dish was filled with frozen veggies and the cauliflower rice, also previously frozen, was mush. Everything was mixed together with some curry tasting sauce and salt. It didnt look or taste very appealing. It was a $31 dish that shouldve been no more than $10. The crab cakes dish also seemed previously frozen and the caponata and burrata was not what the description said. Overall, it was just a lot of money for very mediocre food.

I've been here a few times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Unfortunately, I haven't been impressed at all. On this particular lunch, I had the Jerk Airline Smoked Chicken Breast and it was meh. The jerk was a little sweet, not spicy, which was fine with me. The chicken was a little dry, perhaps overcooked. The mango salsa was missing some salt and the mangoes were not sweet. The almond coconut rice had a good flavor. The broccolini was well cooked. Next, I ordered creme brulee for dessert. It had great flavor but the sugar wasn't caramelized long enough so it didn't have that crunch on top that I like. For drinks, I had the rose. I love Chateau Elan's rose. My server was pleasant and I love the ambiance at Chateau Elan. I just hope some flavorful food get on the menu.
