OLD BAKED GOODS BEING SOLD HERE! Last year, I purchased scream horns from Boo Bear Bakery that were very stale. After not going there for awhile, I decided to give them another shot and went today. Not wanting to get another old dessert, I asked the owner which of the selections were baked most recently to which she angrily yelled, "I get so sick and tired of everyone coming in here all the time asking how old everything is!" I thought, well, maybe if your products were fresher, then everyone wouldn't have to ask! Obviously, it’s been an issue based on her defensive reaction to a very simple question. Lesson Learned: If you want FRESH baked goods (as in baked that day, not last week) go to The Sweet Shoppe in Blue Ridge or McCaysville!
