It's worth the wait! People this food is fresh, made to order. Not a fast food place by any means unless you order one of their delicious empanadas wich are out pretty quick. I suggest if you find yourself in a hurry call and place your order... they also deliver!

Great food ! Very good food, great service.. Had a tripleta empanadilla recently ... And the specials I have ordered so far have been delicious... Just like grandma's cooking from Puerto Rico.. :)

My husband and I went to Abuela's Seafood today and I must say the experience left us dissapointed! We placed an order for a shrimp platter, fried scallops and shrimp platter, fish tacos, and a beef and pizza cheese empanada. I'll start with the good. The empanada was delicious and my daughter loved it. The fish tacos were good as well and the lemonade was perfect! Now on to why I gave it 2 stars; the platters come with 2 sides I ordered seasoned fries and broccoli and did not receive the broccoli and the young man who took my order said he wasn't sure if they had broccoli so he went in the back then came out front again and said it was a go with the broccoli but when I got home I was missing broccoli! So we called and told them that my order didn't have the broccoli and the woman who is the owner argued us down saying we didn't order any broccoli! Which is ridiculous because the meal comes with 2 sides and we only received the fries and we told her this and she was still insistent that we didnt order it even though it comes with 2 sides and we only received one. now second issue now of The scallops and fries that I did receive the fries had a hair on them and my scallops tasted like chemicals due to the tripolyphosphate (STPP) used to keep the seafood hydrated, now when I bought this to the attention of the cook he said ''oh thats because we ran out of scallops and had to buy some from the supermarket and they were pre packaged'' excuses, excuses! also the plain shrimp platter we orderd also came with just one side of fries when we ordered double fries. All in all I would not go back here again the owner was rude and when we went back up there she was had went to the store to buy more broccoli. I will say the young man at the counter was nice and really tried to make up for all the errors and poor quality but it was just too much at that point. And I think they were pretty expensive for the amount of food they give. Our botched order of 3 items came to 36.00, really a dissapointment because we like to support small local business but we wont be going back. Oh YEAH it took 45 min, YES 45 MINUTES for our order!

This restaurant is a diamond in the rough...So good...My fiancee' & I ate like royalty for a low price. Best fresh seafood:)
