Arepa Mía

Made by hand with love! We found this little eatery in a corner of the Sweet Auburn Curb Market and started by ordering a couple of spicy beef empanadas. They were so delicious that we ordered the Pescado arepa which was fabulous - super tasty and fresh. You can watch the arepas being made by hand and we loved the cilantro sauce!

My first time at this location (usually go to the municipal market) and the Arepa I had was amazing . The plantains didn’t taste too great like I’m used to but the arepa I had made up for it !

Horrible service by the cashier. and she doesn't understand what customer service is. I do not recommend

Great food but had a terrible experience with the woman serving. When we arrived we asked her what the deal was with parking and she explained that there was a machine in the market which validated your parking ticket. 45 mins later we returned and ordered two empanadas which she told us would take 10 mins. They were so delicious we wanted to order something else. There is a one hour limit on parking and so specifically asked her whether i should go and move the car as the time was nearly up. She replied 'Its not that complicated, just drive out and give your ticket to the guy and that's it - dont worry' So we ordered an arepa and it was just as fantastic as the empanada but when we left the ticket was over an hour and the parking attendant hit us for $5. When we returned to the lady she point blank denied the conversation and rushed to her friend the security guard and said ' I told them the parking was one hour'. At best poor service, at worst plain lying.
