MAA, worst management company ever! Renter beware.

I live at one of this company’s properties and they towed my car. This is somewhere I pay rent and they towed my car. I literally just gave them close to $1400 and they towed my car. Didn’t even let me know where my car was, I just came home to a missing car. Anyone looking to live here, take my advice and look elsewhere. It’s not worth the money or the hassle.

I liked living at my property. The amenities and the grounds were always taken care of and nice. My biggest complaint was the floor above my apartment was uneven, so anytime my upstairs neighbor walked around her room, it was the most annoying creaking noise. I was waiting to write my review until I moved out to see how that was handled. Everything looked fine, except our refund check was written out to both me and my roommate's name, meaning I can't cash the check unless we have a joint account. Since we no longer live together and are not a couple, there is no actual way for me to cash the check. I can understand the legal aspect of it, but common sense would tell you how this doesn't make sense. I feel like this was a way for them to keep our money, because it's basically a worthless check we can't cash. I've lived in 4 or 5 different homes/apartments handled by property management companies with roommates. I've never received a refund check that was written out to everyone, because obviously that is dumb.
