I have never met anyone in person and as you know these machine ( resend) usage needs some hand holding. The nurse from nationwide was a joke as she did not have any device to demo. My doctor always video conferences me and his suggestion to tweak the machine, I dont know how. Over last 2 years I have learnt by trial and error and several sleepless nights. They Never return calls. Wow if this is a leading Atlanta institutionwe are in troubke I wanted all my records to be in one place but today I am forced to seek a private practitioner. Still lookin!!

No one returns my call for months. The prescription was sent in Nov 2021 and I still don't have an appointment to get that prescription filled.

I went to Emory to get a CPAP. I went through their entire process to get one. The process took 90 days. I called them regularly for updates, but they did not return my calls. They did not order the CPAP machine in the time required by my insurance. So seven months into what should have been a three month process, they told me I had to start over. They did not apologize.

I had a sleep study early 2021 Diagnosed with sleep apnea, requiring a CPAP machine. They said they put in an order for a CPAP machine . After 7 months of follow up and frustration, I just gave up. I wasn't getting any help or answers from Emory Sleep Center or the CPAP Vendor, they were both point fingers at each other. Recently, I decided to go at it agin. I've spent the last 90 days trying to get this CPAP machine. So much time had gone by, I had to have another DR Visit to restart the order process. After my visit - they said they reordered the CPAP machine. I still don't have the machine! The latest, per the CPAP Vendor, they're waiting on the Emory Sleep Center Dr to sign the Medical Necessity Form. I message them on their portal, I can see they read the messages (date and time stamped) but they never respond. This started in 2021- were now in 2023!

It is hard to get an appointment here, no doubt. You may have to wait 6 months to finally get in. But, when you do, its TOTALLY worth it. I see Dr. Trotti and she is the first doctor Ive had who I feel truly listens to me and takes the time to understand my medical history before looking at treatment options. I mean, she poured over EVERY medical chart and notes from my former specialists in completely different realms of health endocrinology, cardiology, primary, etc.) before she even stepped in the room to meet me. She has all the updated info and research on sleep disorders which helped me in terms of access to medication that my former sleep doctor couldnt give to me because he was working off outdated guidelines. I can not recommend them enough. Dr. Trotti and Dr. Rye are known as the best in the business for a reason.
