Worst experience ever. I arranged for “move-out deep clean” for a 4b/4b townhome. I arranged for cleaning about a month in advance, so this was not last minute planning. I was told I would get a call prior to them showing up with an ETA, instead I get a call saying the crew was outside. I come outside to a crew of 3 individuals, 2 of whom are SMOKING cigarettes on the property. I politely asked them not to smoke. They were there from 8:45 am until about 1pm. My husband and I were busy running errands for our move, so when we returned we were so very disappointed- starting with the same 2 crew members SMOKING cigarettes outside in the driveway with the garage door lifted open and the door to the house open. The whole house smelled of cigarettes. The floors had not been swept, let alone mopped (large debris of dirt and dust). The counter tops had visibly not been wiped off (I threw flowers away prior to their arrival and the residue was still on the counter, sticky stains, etc.). Bathroom had hair on the rim of the tub, shower floor had white residue, baseboards untouched... I mean, it literally looked as if there had been nothing touched except for the oven (which was a supposedly additional up charge). The blinds were raised on all of the windows, only to find out that was because they had not been dusted or wiped down. As we were pointing out all of the things incomplete about the service, the male of the group began to get upset and loud. He said, “this is the service you paid for!” Mind you, I was quoted for $480 😳. I asked his name, he replied, “why do you need to know my name?” I pointed out the fireplace had not been dusted- he wiped off the dust with his hand and said, “you’re complaining about little things.” (Side note: He wiped his dusty hand on the back of his black shorts and had no idea he looked like a fool) I called the company while the crew was still there, and the representative told me there was no supervisor available and to email pictures of my dissatisfaction. As I mentioned before, we were moving out. So there was no time to email pictures and wait for a response. I asked for a more immediate response- the representative hung up on me. The male crew member got loud and disrespectful toward my husband and I. He said he wanted to call the police and I more than welcomed that idea. I felt scammed. It was so obvious no real work had been done, outside of the oven and carpets vacuumed, which I offered to pay $125 (being nice) but no way in heaven was I paying $480. As I called, the police, the crew immediately put their shoes on and said they were leaving and we didn’t have to pay them anything. One of crew members, a young lady, was helpful in trying to rectify the situation, but it was far too gone. The day had been wasted and I ended up having to clean the house myself- top to bottom. I wish I had saved myself the headache and did it myself from the beginning, I was just very busy with work and in a time-crunch. PLEASE save yourself the headache and never use this company. No one gets paid to put reviews up. Not all experiences are to be good either. And no one's perfect. Top Cleaning let's not just get it together but let's keep it together, so most all will be satisfied. That's right, most all.
