I'll start by warning you that this company is not able to tell you the reason for your flooring issue correctly, they are just guessing . Don't waste your money and time .
Now I get into details.
We bought the floor (bamboo) at floor and decor in Buford GA a year ago, after 6 months we start noticing some discoloration and the clear finishing starts to chip off in some areas, so we went to floor and decor to find out what happened. The answer was : need a Flooring inspection and you need to provide one , we don't inspect floor that we sell . Ok we contact this company (all flooring inspection) and an inspector show up for the inspection, we paid $495 inspection fee .
Two weeks later we received the inspection report saying that the floor is not defective and the discoloration was caused by a steam cleaner mop . Here were the funny stories start , I told the inspector that we use the steam cleaner mop to clean the floor but he didn't know that we just got that steam cleaner a 2 weeks before the inspection and was used on flooring two time .
That is why I think that are just guessing based on what you and Google tell them.
I'm very disappointed with the whole flooring industry at this time, has been an ugly experience.
I just want to warn you about this company as well floor and decor, I will report both to the BBB as well, because I think this is not correct.
I will not waste anymore time and money with this issue, I will replace my floor with tiles and not ever deal again with wood flooring again, the industry is a joke at moment.
