They called me 1 hour before my appointment as I was on the way to the office (a one hour drive) and said the doctor is out of the office today and that they have to cancel my new patient appt.
I cant believe how often this happens to me in the healthcare field so often that its hard for me to trust that the doctor didnt just decide to have a vacay day or had a light load of patients and decided to reschedule them so they could have a day off. Patients rearrange their lives to make it to appointments - using PTO they cant recoup or, worse, taking a day when they dont have paid time off.
Offices need to have backups for doctors so that the burden doesnt fall on patients when their scheduled physician isnt in the office. Give us the option of seeing a different doctor when this happens. Since this was going to be my first appointment, its a first impression a terrible one that has me thinking twice about whether this is the office I want to trust with my care

I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Edmonds. She was recommended by a friend and I'm very happy I saw her. She properly diagnosed me after my general practitioner had not. Had I not seen her I would have waited even longer to seek the proper treatment for what turned out to be Basal Cell Carcinoma. She identified a possible issue and referred me to a surgeon for confirmation. She also reassured and informed me along the way. If in doubt or in need of a specialist see her! And the office experience was totally positive as well with a friendly welcoming staff from start to finish. Lastly the surgeon she referred me to was equally as amazing. I highly recommend her and her practice.
