Dr. Clay and team are wonderful. Ive been a patient for over year. As a person, thats very process oriented, I appreciate the efficiency her team delivers during every visit. Prior to my visits I receive Appointment confirmations via text which include the location (Buckhead or Marietta) During the visit, the front desk, check in process was friendly and quick. She confirmed insurance coverage and the wait time was short. Dr. Clay reviewed the reason for my visit and gave treatment instructions. We even cracked a few jokes along the way. Overall, a great experience as usual. I would highly recommend Dr. Clay and her team.

Havent been able to see Dr. Clay in a while and really anticipated this appointment because she does have your skin looking great. I was disappointed. After reading some of the reviews I noticed some people had some experiences similar to mine. I had high hopes for having Dr. Clay as my dermatologist. I came in for my appointment and as a single parent had my son who was 2 years old with me. Granted I checked the policy for limitations who can come with you during a visit and misunderstood as you can only have someone accompany you if the visit is for the minor. The website did not specify those specific details. Why have me sign in, wait etc to only turn me away ? I drove about an hour commute and wasnt seen. That was frustrating. As for bedside manner Ive experienced similar issues where I felt like the MD was slightly cold but it was also more so the assistant who was with her; honestly I dont care about that as much if Im getting effective treatment. You can always go to another physician, but I too wanted to have a black dermatologist and loooooved how Dr. Clays skin looked. I dont want to seem like a patient whos having a ME ME ME Me moment lol. Not sure if its more so the office due to the experience, but just wanted to share. :(

Awful experiences. The first time I saw this physician she was cold and my visit was rushed. I decided to make another appointment because I was pregnant at my first visit and I couldn't apply a lot of things to my skin anyway so I brushed it off that she didn't address my concerns the first time. Additionally, I really wanted to give a black doctor the benefit of doubt. Second time I called the office and let them know that my first visit was rushed and to avoid a repeat experience I'd like to email a list of everything I use on my face, my concerns, and my goals. Someone from the office called me back and told me that I could bring in my skin care products but as far as writing my goals and concerns...that wasn't necessary because the physician would only address one to two concerns (which were all I had...two concerns). Day of my appointment I left home early to ensure I was on time but Google sent me to her Marietta office not the Atlanta office where my appointment was. I called the Atlanta office with 2 minutes to spare before my appointment as I was leaving Marietta location. I had to leave a voicemail. I explained in my message that I was sent to the Marietta office and that it was my fault for not checking the address but that I didn't even know there was a Marietta location. I also said in my message that I understand that I may need to be rescheduled given my eta to the atlanta office was 22 minutes. However, I asked for a call back before I made my way in mid-day Atlanta traffic across town. I arrived at the atlanta office and noone had called me back at that point. When I checked in I was told I'd be rescheduled. I asked why didn't anyone call and tell me this and the girl at the front stated that my message was received but that noone bothered to call me. I was done at that point. She asked me to reschedule but I declined. There is a regard for the physician's time at this please but a clear disregard for mine! Yes, I went to the wrong location (I accept that) but why not call me back and tell me to reschedule when there was a 24 minute window?! My first impression of this lady was right. She lacks warmth, pleasentness, and basic bedside manners. Her office staff are inconsiderate of patient's desires and time. I have already made an appointment at a new place. Don't abuse and exploit my desire to support a black doctor because I will not allow disrespect.
