Dr. Frey came highly recommended to me so I was excited to get treated by him. Unfortunately, despite telling him my physical medical history, I ended up in bed for almost a week after treatment, and experienced severe pain. In addition, he didn't seem to have a handle on how to handle my BCBS insurance, so told me he would "bill me later". I got NO bill for months, then out of the blue, a voice mail on the telephone asking for the money I owed him. I immediately sent a check along with a letter requesting a receipt, so I could file the claim myself. 4 weeks later, I STILL HAVE NO RECEIPT. I have been to chiropractors before Dr, Frey and since. This is the only time anyone has rendered me in such pain. I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience. UPDATE March 16, 2014: After two letters mailed via USPS as well as a copy I personally dropped off at his office as well as two phone messages left on his voice mail requesting a receipt for the services rendered with no response from Dr. Frey, I had given up; it is now too late to submit to my insurance for reimbursement. However, upon returning home from vacation today there was a message from Dr. Frey on my answering machine that I hadn't given him a chance to respond (let's see.....months and months and months, letters, phone messages is "not giving him a chance"????? and that "he is glad not to have someone like me as a patient." Let's see..."someone like me"... a patient who PAID HIM ON TIME....and only expected a simple receipt without fuss? Wow. I asked only for a receipt for medical services rendered. Not too much to expect after you have PAID a doctor months previously?
